Anna has a variety of experience including working in a child trauma unit, in-school therapy, drug and alcohol counseling, outpatient, and private practice therapy. She has a passion for working with teens, LGBTQIA, individuals with an extreme trauma history, and marriage and relationship issues with couples and individuals. Additionally, she enjoys working with couples that are at a crossroads in their relationships and trending towards a break-up/divorce, coping with infidelity, and communication issues. She works with anxiety, postpartum depression, life stage/transitions, borderline personality disorder, trauma, and self-esteem issues.
Anna believes that each client has the tools they need to be successful and that through collaboration they can be successful in anything they put their mind to. An integrative approach to counseling is used to incorporate various techniques into therapy. She utilizes a combination of Bowen, interpersonal psychotherapy, ACT therapy, and Gottman method.
She provides an honest, direct-approach, kindness, and understanding to all clients and looks forward to seeing them achieve their goals and experience higher levels of confidence as they begin to believe in themselves once again.
