I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. At 29, I decided that I wanted to help children and parents navigate past any challenges and obstacles to return to a happy, meaningful life where the child is operating at his or her best. In order to enter the mental health field, I earned my Masters of Science in Secondary School Counseling and Principal Certification from Villanova University. I am licensed professional counselor in PA, NJ and SC. I have 22+ years in the mental health field in a variety of settings. I have worked with "at-risk youth, young adults with TBI's, and those dealing with some form of trauma, PTSD, cyberbullying, etc..My treatment modality is CBT. Overall, my approach is collaborative where I am empowering the client to take the lead in his or her therapeutic process.
