I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and have worked the past 18 years in a variety of mental health settings. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families many who have experienced a wide range of concerns to include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and family transitions to name a few. I believe very strongly in the therapeutic relationship and feel that this is the foundation of the work that we will do together. My therapeutic style can be described as warm and supportive with a focus on being authentic. My approach combines client centered, strength-based, humanist, approaches that are tailored to each individual clients unique needs. Through the rapport building process I strive to understand each individuals current life situation and in collaboration with the client and family develop a plan to help them achieve their goals and live the life they envision.
