I assist caregivers in learning new and healthy ways to parent children who have experienced difficulties in life. As a therapist, I am honored to work with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma. I am a graduate of Alabama State University (B.S. in Criminal Justice) and Auburn University-Montgomery (M.Ed, and Ed.S both in Counseling and Development) and owner of Keila Cares.
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as a Registered Play Therapist. I have had the privilege in helping to empower hundreds of children and their families.

My favorite kids game: My favorite childhood games was Jacks. I'm sure anyone born in 1995 or later would not know what it is. It didn't include electricity, just a lot of precision and agility.
My favorite hobbies: I enjoy doodling and lettering. I also enjoy reading.
