Similar issues can arise for parents who may be experiencing this role for the first time, impacting one’s ability to bond with their children. Early intervention can support children as young as infancy to promote healthy functioning into adulthood as well as support parents who may be experiencing difficult feelings related to their own history. As an art psychotherapist and licensed counselor with 20+ years’ experience supporting young children, their parents, and pregnant/postpartum women, I specialize in the journey to and through parenthood.
