Hi, my name is Whitney Mosesley, LPC. I graduated with my bachelor's in psychology from Ursuline College. I attended John Carroll and graduated with master's in clinical mental health counseling. I have always enjoyed helping individuals from all walks of life. I enjoy connecting with people and steering them in their right direction with guidance. I have worked in various jobs where I interact with both kids and adolescents. My experience includes but isn't limited to being a nanny for a 4-year-old girl, a youth counselor for children who were on the autism spectrum, working as a detox counselor at Stella Maris, I enjoyed having both my own NIOP and dual diagnoses group for adults 18+, and an assistant teacher for the STAR center for university hospitals. I have enjoyed working with kids my whole life and dreamed of becoming a pediatrician one day. My path clearly changed after learning about the mind and how powerful it is. I have enjoyed working with individual from the age of 5-60 years of age. My focus/specialty includes but isn't limited to depression, anxiety, grief, suicide, gender identify, as well as substance use. My style of therapy usually involves playing games that involve therapeutic perspective, psychoeducation videos, and CBT. I enjoy arts and crafts way too much and incorporate them into any sessions I think can benefit from it. I currently work with both children, adolescences, and adults. I also go into the schools for my younger client to target the academic or school concerns head on, with the consent from the parent/ guardian.
